Description
Energy Battle Royale by Global Inheritance
- An interactive rap battle featuring the Energy Superheroes. Students will learn about energy sources and vote for their favorites.
AI for Rebuilding Resilient Communities, Marcela Oliva
- Professor Oliva and her team will present the AI-powered digital twin of Altadena that was destroyed in the Eaton Fire. Students will learn how to use the Aura software to design and reimagine the community and use the AI prompts to go deeper into the layers. Students will get firsthand experience using this interactive GIS map and data tools and learn the importance of data in climate careers and community resilience.
Power Up for Climate! Clean Energy in Entertainment, AY Musik
- Battery Tour is the longest-running clean energy-powered concert series in the USA and worldwide featuring songs based on the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. AY Young will host an interactive discussion to inspire students to take positive climate actions in their communities and perform at the opening and closing ceremonies.
Find Your Green Career Workshop, Kristy Drutman
- This dynamic, interactive workshop is designed to guide young people in discovering their unique path within the growing green economy. From renewable energy and sustainable design to climate policy and conservation, there’s a green career for every passion—and this session helps participants find theirs.
Climate Cooldown, Building a Climate Resilient Future, Thomas Yount
- Students design cards for a game focused on innovative solutions to climate change problems. Using poster boards and markers, students will work in groups to design “cards” to incorporate into the master game. Each group will work on solutions to environmental problems in the Inland Empire such as pollution, extreme heat, and drought.
Renewable Energy Game, Robyn Mancell
- A dynamic, hands-on learning experience with The Green Energy Tribe's "The Home Energy Efficiency Challenge." This interactive session introduces students to the principles of sustainable living, renewable energy, and eco-friendly architecture through an engaging, game-based approach. Students will work collaboratively, developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they design their own energy-efficient homes within a high-impact format.
