In this hands-on model-building workshop, participants will use a colorful range of found objects provided to build models of both a favorite memory of landscape and/or being outside and then will work in groups to build models of a nature-filled community, exploring the role that the built environment and design can play in enhancing access to green space and biodiversity. Students will then share what they have built and learn from each other about the various ways in which our built environment can play a positive role in enhancing access to nature and biodiversity.
